Who you’ll be hearing from…

Bethan Holloway Portrait

Bethan Francis (nee Holloway) – Client Services Director

“As a passionate fundraiser I feel privileged to have worked with many of the UK’s favourite charities over the last 10 years, helping them to drive their fundraising strategies. I believe good insight and good data is behind every fundraising success, and at Pell & Bales I am lucky enough to be exposed to both. I listen to thousands of fundraising conversations and analyse results and behaviours across hundreds of campaigns, from acquisition to legacy, every year. This understanding of what donors really think, feel and do is behind every program that I design, every insight that I share and every conversation that we have with donors on behalf of our charity clients”

Alex Mackain – Bremner – Account Director

“Hi my name’s Alex.  I’ve worked at Pell & Bales for 15 years and counting, man and boy, from Telephone Fundraiser to Account Director. I am passionate about Human Rights and raising money for charities through great conversation.  I have the privilege of working on some of the biggest and greatest fundraising programs in the country as well as holding the hand of smaller charities and those that haven’t used the phone before – it is so rewarding helping them to see the power that the telephone has to engage and inspire their supporters to give.”

Tom Macarte. Copywriter

Having fundraised with P&B on and off since 2007, I’ve recently joined the Creative Department as a copy-writer, bringing with me expertise from speaking to over ten thousand supporters. I’m passionate about crafting words into powerful messages, and building conversations around those words. I volunteer with the London Wildlife Trust, doing weekly conservation work in a fragment of ancient woodland which happens to be a short walk from my flat on the South Circular.

Camille St. Omer, Trainer

After a variety of roles at Pell & Bales, from Fundraiser to Fundraiser Manager I most recently joined the best team of all, THE TRAINING TEAM!  Pell & Bales does such amazing work on behalf of charities and I love that I get to share this, along with my experience of being on the phone myself, with new and experienced fundraisers alike, inspiring them to become great, successful and motivational FUN’raisers.

Spenser Gardner, Creative Manager

Having worked as a telephone and face to face fundraiser I’ve had the privilege of standing up for human rights, standing against poverty, speaking out against injustice and standing with the poor, the dispossessed and the disenfranchised. As a coach and manager I’ve been able to help other fundraisers to make a difference, to make the world we live in better for ALL of us, not just the lucky few.

Now that I’m heading up the creative team at Pell & Bales I can help connect beneficiaries with donors by telling their stories, and give fundraisers the raw materials they need to build a conversation.

Rebecca Patterson, PR & Marketing Executive

I’m from the North East originally and LOVE to talk which made speaking to hundreds of charity supporters a great way to start my journey at Pell & Bales.

I’ve have had the most amazing conversations with supporters from charities such as Anthony Nolan, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Cancer Research UK, NSPCC and RNIB.

Now working as a PR & Marketing Executive, I take great satisfaction in sharing Pell & Bales latest news, views and best practice with rest of the fundraising sector through key press and social media channels.

Jess Bianchi-Borham, Group Account Director

Hi I’m Jess and Im the Group Account Director at Pell & Bales and Pure. I joined as a fundraiser in 2008 raising thousands of pounds for supporters from charities including Cancer Research UK, Barnardo’s, British Red Cross and Unicef; providing me with an excellent foundation to join the accounts team in 2010. I am now responsible for designing, implementing and developing campaign strategies across multiple clients to deliver the best possible income, lifetime value and supporter experience.
